Carmen Soo - Malaysia Model & Actress

Carmen Soo Wai Mun (simplified Chinese: 苏慧敏; traditional Chinese: 蘇慧敏; pinyin: Su Huimin) is a Malaysian Chinese model and actress. Born and raised in Malaysia of Chinese descent, she currently resides in Petaling Jaya, Selangor with her family. She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management and can speak fluent Malay, Mandarin and English while also learning Tagalog to help her television acting career in the Philippines. She was part owner of a boutique named 'Kushi' located in Bangsar.

Vivian Shu is a Taiwanese-born singer, actress and model, she made her music debut in 1991 at the age of 16 as a member of a female trio named ShaoNuDui (Literally, Girl's Group). This group, however, never achieved popularity and Vivian Shu temporarily parted from singing to explore the opportunities available to her in modeling and acting. After going to Japan and achieving some popularity, Vivian Shu once again entered the music industry starting in 1996 by releasing a few singles and then her first solo album, all in Japanese. It's remarkable enough that she became famous in a culture and language different from her own.
Learning one foreign language must not have satisfied her enough, as she went through a speed course on "how to speak Korean in one week" and released a Korean music album in the latter part of 1996. Halfway through 1997, she joined two comedian program hosts to form a music group called the Black Biscuits. Black Biscuits was formed as a rival group to another popular Japanese music group named Pocket Biscuits. Now, Vivian has returned to the Chinese music scene once again, releasing her debut solo Chinese album in Taiwan recently.

Lin Zhi Ling was born on November 29, 1973 in Taiwan. Lin Zhi Ling is one of the Taiwan Top and Sexiest Model.Lin Zhi Ling created a phenomenon in Taiwan; it took less than a year to make her the most talk about celebrity in worldwide Chinese community.
Lin Zhi Ling came from a strong family background. The incident also created debates and controversies when Taiwan officials use president-like treatments for her, including a private jet to bring her back to Taiwan.
It took Zhi Ling a few months to recover from her injury; her entertainment career however was not affected, and grew even stronger.
In May 2006, Zhi Ling decided to take a break from her busy modeling and hosting career and take training courses in acting, to prepare for her debut movie “Red Cliff” directed by international famous director John Woo.












Chinese Actress Yao Chen "Microblog Queen"

Chinese Actress Yao Chen apparently reaches a larger social media audience than American talk show queen Oprah Winfrey and also Barack Obama and Britney Spears have been eclipsed by Yao Chen on the list of most popular microbloggers this week.
Chen’s fan count came close to reaching 7.4 million, putting her third on the world’s list of most popular microbloggers behind Justin Bieber (8.7 million followers) and Lady Gaga (9.3 million followers).

New fans flocked to follow Yao Chen’s account after she posted photos and tweeted about spending time with the disadvantaged at a refugee camp in Thailand.

China’s second most popular microblogger, Dee Hsu aka Xiao S, also leap-frogged her way up the international chart. The Kang Xi Lai Le TV host added 165,197 followers to her total of 6.5 million fans this week putting her in front of American chat show host Elle DeGeneres, whose fan count increased to 6.4 million.

In September 2010, Twitter had 175 million registered users, while Sina reports that Weibo had more than 80 million registered users in January 2011.











Michele Monique Reis

Michele Monique Reis known as Lee Kar Yan was born on 20 June 1970 in Macau which was then a Portuguese colony. She is a Hong Kong top actress, Michele Reis is of mixed ancestry as her father is Portuguese and her mother is Cantonese.
Michelle maintains, however, that she considers herself Chinese as that was the only culture and language she grew up familiar with. Reis attended Maryknoll Convent School, and matriculated from St. Paul’s Secondary School. Reis started modeling at the age of 14.
She first came to fame when she won the 1988 Miss Hong Kong Pageant at the age 18. Reis was also the first Miss Chinese International in the same year. Following her Miss Chinese International crowning, she went on to participate in the Miss World 1988 pageant, where she promoted the image of Hong Kong. She almost made the top 10, almost making it by a fraction of a score. She was then suppose to compete in the Miss Universe 1989 pageant but withdrew due to health problems.
Reis started to build a career within the entertainment industry in the 1990s. She starred in commercials eventually leading to movies. She has also appeared in music videos and TVB television episodes. Reis married business tycoon Julian Hui on 23 November 2008, following a very public two-year courtship.

Fann Wong is a Singaporean Chinese actress who shot to fame, initially in Taiwan as a TV commercial model for Olay skincare products (1992), then in Singapore as the youngest Best Actress winner in Singapore's Star Awards history (1995). Fann Wong born on 27 January 1971, she derived her artiste name, Fann Wong, from a combination of her father's surname (Fann) and her mother's surname (Wong). Since then, she has starred in numerous well-received television dramas and movies, such as Return of the Condor Heroes (1998) and The Truth About Jane and Sam (1999). She was also a prolific singer in the late 1990s, releasing a number of bestselling pop albums in Taiwan, and recording with the likes of British boyband 911. In 2003, she appeared in Hollywood blockbuster Shanghai Knights (2003), which raised her profile internationally. Since then, Fann Wong has continued to appear in a slew of movies and drama serials, notably Just Follow Law (2007) and Jintai-Pan (2009). She received an acting award in Hollywood for Dance of the Dragon (2008). In 2010, she was named by CNNGo as one of Asia's 25 greatest actors of all time.
